How to play

Choose a stake and spin. There are no paylines; according to the official page symbols pay anywhere on the screen and 8-30 matching symbols form a win. Winning symbols are removed, the symbols above slide down and new ones fill the gaps. This is the tumble, and it repeats for the same stake as long as new wins form. The official page states that symbol wins go up to 50x.

Multiplier symbols

Random multiplier symbols are worth up to 500x and, according to the official page, can land in both the base game and free spins. When a multiplier symbol lands on a winning spin, its value is added to a total multiplier and applied to that win. Without a win it has no effect. Is there a Gates of Olympus strategy?

No. Every spin is decided by a random number generator (RNG). Methods like "raise the stake after a multiplier" or "the bonus comes after a set number of spins" have no basis. Worked example

You are in the free spins round and the round's total multiplier is currently 10x. A spin produces a 2 ₺ tumble win and a multiplier symbol worth 5x lands in the same spin. According to the official page, a multiplier landing on a winning spin is added to the total multiplier: 10x + 5x = 15x. Applied to that win the result is 2 ₺ × 15 = 30 ₺, and the round continues with a 15x total multiplier. The example only shows the mechanic; real payout values depend on the game's paytable.

Free spins round

4 or more scatters start the bonus game with 15 free spins. According to the official page, winning multiplier symbols during the feature are added to a total multiplier, which is applied to the respective win. The promotional page does not say whether extra free spins can be won during the bonus; check the in-game rules.

Gates of Olympus multiplier values

The page gives 500x as the top multiplier value; it does not state the lowest value, so we give no lower bound here.

Bonus buy and ante bet

The original game's official promotional page does not mention a bonus buy or ante bet option. Availability can vary by operator and country; check the in-game menu.

Differences from Gates of Olympus 1000

According to the official pages both games share the Zeus theme and the pays-anywhere + tumble mechanic; both state a 96.50% RTP and a bonus of 15 free spins from 4+ scatters. The differences:

• Multiplier cap: 500x in the original, 1,000x (2x-1,000x) in Gates of Olympus 1000.
• Bonus buy: the 1000 edition's page states a bonus buy for 100x the bet; the original's page has no buy information.
• Extra spins: the 1000 edition's page states 5 extra spins from 3+ scatters in the bonus; the original's page does not say this.

To tell them apart in a lobby, look at the game name on the loading screen and the info screen: the 1000 edition carries "1000" in its name.

Can you play a Gates of Olympus demo?

Pragmatic Play's official game page offers Gates of Olympus as a free demo. This site does not host the demo and no button labelled "demo" leads to a registration page. The demo is useful for seeing how the multiplier symbols and the tumble flow work without real money; demo results promise nothing about real play.
