How to play

Choose a stake and spin. The grid has 6 columns and 5 rows. No paylines are needed: at least 8 matching symbols anywhere on screen win. Winning symbols are removed, the symbols above slide down and new ones fill the gaps. This is the tumble, and it repeats for the same stake as long as new drops keep producing wins.

Multiplier symbols

Random multiplier symbols can land during a spin or a tumble; the official page gives their values as 2x to 1,000x. At the end of a tumble sequence the multipliers on screen are added together and applied to that sequence's total win. A multiplier symbol pays nothing by itself; without a win it has no effect.

Symbols

The official page mentions crowns, goblets and gems; the Zeus figure acts as the scatter. The per-symbol paytable is not given on the official promotional page, so it is not given here either; see the in-game info screen.

Worked example

Say a 10 ₺ spin produces three consecutive tumble wins and two multiplier symbols worth 5x and 20x land along the way. The total of the three tumble wins (say 4 ₺) is multiplied at the end of the sequence by the combined multiplier of 25x: 4 ₺ × 25 = 100 ₺. Multipliers are added, not multiplied together. The example shows the mechanic; real payout values depend on the game's paytable.

Free spins round

4 or more scatters in the base game award 15 free spins. Multiplier symbols that land during the bonus are added to the round's total multiplier at the end of each sequence and apply to wins for the rest of the round; the multiplier does not reset. 3 or more scatters during the bonus add 5 more free spins.

Bonus buy

According to the official page the free spins round can be bought outright for 100x the bet. Whether the buy option is enabled varies by operator and country.

Differences from the original Gates of Olympus

According to the official pages the two games share the theme and the pays-anywhere + tumble mechanic. The difference is the multiplier cap: multiplier symbols reach 500x in the original and 1,000x in the 1000 edition. Both pages state a 96.50% RTP and 15 free spins. Can you play a demo?
