How to play
There are no paylines; enough matching symbols anywhere on screen win. Winning symbols are removed, the rest slide down and the gaps fill. The official page specifically states that there is no limit to consecutive tumbles.
Multiplier symbols
Multiplier symbols are worth 2x to 1,000x. At the end of a tumble sequence the multipliers on screen are added together and applied to the total win.
Scatter
The Starlight Princess character is the scatter and pays in any position, so the scatter itself is a paying symbol. 4 or more scatters in the base game trigger the free spins round.
Worked example
If a spin produces 3 ₺ of tumble wins together with 10x and 50x multipliers, the multipliers are added at the end of the sequence (60x) and the win becomes 3 ₺ × 60 = 180 ₺. In free spins these multipliers are added to the round's total multiplier and stay in force for later spins. The example shows the mechanic; paytable values are in the game.
Free spins round
4 or more scatters start the free spins round. According to the official page, multiplier symbols that land during the bonus are added to the round's total multiplier and boost wins for the rest of the round. The 1000 edition's official page does not state the number of free spins; the original Starlight Princess page says 15. We do not assume the two numbers are the same.
Bonus buy
The official promotional page states no buy option or price.
Differences from the original Starlight Princess
According to the official pages, multiplier symbols range from 2x to 500x in the original and 2x to 1,000x in the 1000 edition. Both pages state a 96.50% RTP. The original's page gives the 8-30 symbol win range and 15 free spins; the 1000 edition's page gives neither number. See our comparison with Gates of Olympus 1000.
