How we rate betting sites
This is not a ranking. It explains the criteria used in our reviews and the evidence level attached to every statement, so you can tell verified facts from claims.
Evidence levels
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Observed | We saw it ourselves on the operator's site |
| Operator claim | Stated on the operator's own page; not verified by us |
| Third-party source | Stated by other sites; verified by neither us nor the operator |
| Unverified | No usable source |
Every review ends with a "Sources" section listing these labels.
Criteria
Licence and legal status
Licence number, issuer and validator link. Legal status in the user's country is stated separately.
Payments
Methods, minimums, stated and observed times, verification requirements. If not tested first-hand, we say so.
Bonus terms
Wagering multiplier and basis, game contribution, minimum odds, expiry and withdrawal cap. Missing terms are shown as "not stated", never guessed.
Games and markets
Sections observed in the menu. Specific game or provider claims only when verified.
Support
Available channels. Response time only if measured.
Account security
Two-factor authentication, SMS confirmation and session controls.
Why no score?
A numeric score implies most criteria were tested first-hand. Scoring an operator we have not paid or messaged would mislead readers. If test data is produced, the scoring method will be explained here first.
User reviews
We do not collect user reviews. If we start, the verification method and publication rules will be explained here.
