How to play Shining Crown

Choose a stake and spin. The official page gives the game format as 5 x 3 and the pay mode as 10 fixed lines: 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 lines played on every spin. You cannot change the line count; the total stake is split across the 10 lines and a win forms when matching symbols line up on an active line.

Symbols

The page lists three special symbols:

• Wild: substitutes for other symbols on a line.
• Star scatter: the first scatter, paying regardless of lines.
• Dollar scatter: the second scatter, also paying regardless of lines.

The description says that when winning symbols burst into flames, "royal wins" are coming; that is a visual effect. How many scatters pay and where, per-symbol values and which reels the wild lands on are not given on the promotional page; see the in-game paytable. Terms are explained in the slot terms guide.

Extra options

The page lists Autoplay, Turbospin, Quick Spin, multi-denomination, battery saver mode and left-hand mode.

Worked example

With 10 fixed lines the total stake is split evenly across the lines. If your total stake is 5 ₺, the line bet is 5 ₺ ÷ 10 = 0.50 ₺. Suppose the paytable shows a combination paying "20x the line bet" (the number is only an example): that combination pays 0.50 ₺ × 20 = 10 ₺ on one line. Games with few lines have a higher line bet, but fewer lines that can form a win. The example only shows the line maths; scatter payouts and real values are in the game's own paytable.

Mystery jackpot

The official Shining Crown page says the mystery jackpot feature is switched on, and the demo window on the page loads an edition labelled "Clover Chance". According to EGT Digital's jackpot page, Clover Chance is a multi-level mystery jackpot with four progressive levels; a player can win one of the four levels and get the chance to upgrade to a higher one. A mystery jackpot is not tied to a symbol combination; when it drops cannot be known in advance.

Not the same as Bell Link

EGT Digital's other jackpot, Bell Link, is described on the same page as having four levels: Grand and Major are linked progressive, Minor and Mini are stand-alone and non-progressive. The Shining Crown page does not mention Bell Link. Which jackpot is attached can depend on the operator's configuration; check the game's loading screen. More: what is a jackpot and EGT Digital.

Shining Crown vs Shining Crown Deluxe

The two games are listed on separate pages in EGT Digital's catalogue. According to the official pages:

• Shared: 5×3 format (the Deluxe page writes "3 x 5"), 10 fixed lines, wild, star scatter and dollar scatter.
• Shining Crown: the page says the mystery jackpot feature is switched on.
• Shining Crown Deluxe: the feature list includes Buy Bonus and the wild is called the "Crown Wild". The Buy Bonus price and what exactly is bought are not explained on the page.

Neither page states RTP, volatility or maximum win. The catalogue also lists other crown-themed games such as Spinning Crown, 10 Crown Hot and 10 Crown Hit; we have not reviewed them.

Can you play a Shining Crown demo?

EGT Digital's official game page has a "Play demo" button; the provider's site shows games with play money only and offers no real-money play. This site does not host the demo and no button labelled "demo" leads to a registration page. Official page: Shining Crown on egt-digital.com.
